Redwater High School freshman Maddie Lee works on her mixed-media piece "What Are the Things That Are Holding You Back From Doing What You Really Want To Do" on Thursday at Arts on Main in downtown Texarkana. Lee and her classmates are getting ready for the Visual Arts Scholastic Events competition on Feb. 27 at Pleasant Grove High School. Redwater rented the space for one day to give its art students a quiet place to focus on their work.
