National Weather Service warns of possibility for freezing rain

There is a slight chance that precipitation will turn to freezing rain in areas north of Interstate 30 this morning.

The hazardous weather outlook from the National Weather Service is for parts of Southwest Arkansas, Northeast Texas and Southeast Oklahoma.

No major effects are expected because of the timing and limited duration of precipitation, according to the NWS. There is a 20 percent chance of precipitation in Texarkana and surrounding areas early today. Today's high should be 57, with a low of 35. Areas north of I-30 could have lows in the upper 20s Friday night into this morning.

In case of precipitation, bridges and overpasses could be hazardous early this morning.
