TC, Mayo Manufacturing, JCM Industries get workforce development grants

$237,697 to be used for creating or upgrading jobs

Today, Texarkana College, Mayo Manufacturing Corp. and JCM Industries will receive two Skills Development Fund grants totaling $237,697 from the Texas Workforce Commission to create or upgrade jobs.

The funds will be used to provide customized training for 83 jobs at Mayo and 43 jobs at JCM. TWC Commissioner Ruth R. Hughs will present the check at 2 p.m. in the lobby of TC's Nelson Administration Building, 2500 N. Robison Road.
