Virginia-based VSE Corp. has signed a one-year lease for property at TexAmericas Center, according to a TexAmericas spokesman.
The lease was effective June 1, and VSE has the option to renew for up to two and a half years more, said Eric Voyles, executive vice president and chief economic development officer.
VSE, headquartered in Alexandria, Va., is leasing nearly 6,000 square feet of office space at 228 Texas Ave. on TexAmericas' Central Campus. The company is expected to create 18 full-time jobs and invest $175,000, Voyles said.
Michael D. Kelly with Texarkana Legacy Group, a local commercial real estate company, brokered the agreement.
