The Arkansas Department of Labor announced River Valley Animal Foods of Texarkana, Ark., a division of Tyson Foods Inc. has received a One Year Accumulative Safety Award.
Nine-to-five employees went for one year without a workday lost from work-related injury or illness between June 29, 2015 and June 30, 2016.
River Valley Animal Foods has a safety program in effect along with a safety committee composed of both employees and management.
