The Texarkana, Texas Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Friday morning near the intersection of Waterman and Milam streets.
Police responded at 9:51 a.m. and found a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in serious but stable condition.
Witnesses described the suspect as a man in a silver four door car. The suspect fled in the vehicle prior to officer's arrival. Crime Scene Technicians and Detectives are currently processing the scene and interviewing witnesses.
