Bowie County Sheriff's Office asks for the public's help in locating an armed Texas-side man who has allegedly been involved in recent home burglaries and has felony warrants, Chief Deputy Jeff Neal said. The 22-year-old wrecked his car Wednesday during a short vehicle pursuit with deputies before fleeing the area on foot, Neal added.

Tradarius Rashad Singleton, 22, was described by the department as being armed and potentially dangerous, with brown eyesand black hair. Singleton stands about 5 feet, six inches tall and weighs approximately 185 pounds.

"He was armed with a handgun during his flight from our deputies," Neal said. "We do not want anyone making contact with him or approaching him."

Singleton has four felony warrants, Neal said, which include 2 burglaries, one for deadly conduct and another for evading arrest in a vehicle. He also has two misdemeanor warrants-one for unlawful carry of a weapon and one for theft.

"Singleton is known to be armed and has been involved in recent residential burglaries," Investigator Robby McCarver said. "Until (Wednesday) he was operating a grey, Pontiac G6 that is now immobile."

Both law enforcement officials said that it is important that the public calls 911 to relay Singleton's location instead of attempting to approach or contact him if he is spotted.

"We do not want the public making contact with him if they see him," Neal said.
