NEW BOSTON, Texas-Bowie County Commissioners will meet at 10 a.m. today to consider allowing a Carrollton, Texas-based energy conservation and efficiency company to test the county's buildings for energy efficiency improvements.
Commissioners will consider issuing a letter to proceed to the Texas Trane energy efficiency study firm. The letter will allow the firm to conduct an energy efficiency study. The study, which will be conducted for a full year, will help the firm identify building energy efficiency improvements and make recommendations to county officials.
In other business, commissioners will consider opening bids submitted by businesses seeking to sell a backhoe to the county's Precinct 4 Road
Department.
