Six Arkansas seniors were honored before the start of the Razorbacks last regular season home game in Fayetteville.

Allester Jermaine Stevens, 22, of Stamps, Ark., escaped from the facility May 25, Sheriff Obie Sims said.

Deputies received a tip Monday about Stevens being inside a home at 1113 Sunset St. in Stamps.

When authorities arrived on the scene at 4:51 p.m., they found Stevens hiding in an attic under insulation, Sims said.

Stevens was taken into custody without incident.

Sims said it's unclear whether the resident, who was not home at the time, was aware Stevens was in the house.

Stevens was booked into the Lafayette County Jail in Lewisville. He is charged with impairing operation of a vital public facility and felony escape. He also faces previous felony charges of failure to appear and theft by receiving.

Sims said more charges are possible.

The sheriff's department was assisted in the search by the Stamps, Lewisville, and Bradley police departments and Arkansas Game and Fish Wildlife officers.
