Police investigate tattoo shop robbery

Texarkana, Texas, police are investigating a robbery that occurred early this morning at the Red Room Tattoo Parlor, 3201 New Boston Road, according to police spokesman Sgt. Geoffrey Lewis.

Officers received a report of a robbery at 3:20 a.m. According to the manager, a masked white male entered the business and demanded money. Several shots were fired by the suspect into the ceiling. No one was hurt. An armed patron of the business fired at the suspect as he was leaving, Lewis said, and the suspect fled the scene on foot with no injuries and an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect was dressed in all black with a blue bandana over his face and tattoos on his hands, Lewis said.
