Two men accused of peppering a Texarkana, Texas, house with shotgun pellets were indicted by a Bowie County grand jury Thursday.

Devin Deandre Luster, 20, allegedly walked out of his house in the 5000 block of Eylau Loop Road in Texarkana, Texas, with a shotgun Nov. 23, 2014, when the mother of a 16-year-old girl who was visiting him came to pick up her daughter at about 11:30 p.m., according to a probable cause affidavit used to create the following account. When the mother got out of her car to tell her daughter to get in, Luster allegedly cocked the gun and said, "I will kill you, b--."

The mother told investigators she watched as her daughter slapped Luster and Luster struck the teen in the back with the shotgun. Later that night, the mother was startled from sleep by the sounds of a shotgun and objects breaking in her home in the 200 block of Mallard Drive in Texarkana, Texas.

The Mallard Drive family discovered the front of their house had been damaged by shotgun pellets, which pierced the walls of the home. The mother called 911 and checked her daughter's cellphone.

Luster allegedly sent the teen a text at 11:52 p.m. that said, "Finna kill all y'all." Similarly threatening texts were allegedly sent later that night.

At the time, Luster and Tristen Underwood, 21, were sharing a residence. Investigators allege Underwood, aka Tristen Pratt, was with Luster and participated in the shooting.

Luster was indicted Thursday on a charge of aggravated assault-threatening with a deadly weapon, for allegedly hitting the teen in the back with the shotgun. The offense is punishable by two to 20 years in prison. Both Luster and Underwood were indicted on charges of deadly conduct in connection with the Mallard Drive shooting. That offense is punishable by two to ten years in a Texas prison.
