St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church will hold a pastoral appreciation honoring the Rev. T.J. Roberson and Janice Roberson's 18 years of service.
Church members describe Roberson as humble in his teaching and preaching of God's word and a positive leader in the community. He reminds his congregation weekly, "What is to come is better than what's been."
Services honoring the Robersons will be at 10:15 a.m. Sunday. The Rev. Mark C. Davis and members of Saint Luke Missionary Baptist Church, Houston, Texas, will be the special guests.
The celebration will conclude at 3 p.m. with guests the Rev. David Deon Roberson and members of One Family Fellowship Church, Mesquite, Texas.
