NEW BOSTON, Texas-Bowie County will have 42 voting precincts at 34 polling places throughout the county open between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. for the Nov. 8 General
Election.
The election will include votes for president, U.S. Congressional members and Texas state legislators as well as electing Texarkana, Texas, City Council members and electing trustees to both the Malta and the Red Lick Independent School District
Boards.

Bowie County residents will be able to vote early in the Nov. 8 general election from Oct. 24 to Nov. 4. Early voting will be conducted at both the Bowie County Courthouse in New Boston and at the Bi-State Justice building's west side entrance in Texarkana.
Oct. 11 will be the last day to register to vote for the Nov. 8 election in Bowie County. To register, go to the Bowie County Elections Administration Office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m weekdays.
Early voting dates and hours are as follows:
- Monday, Oct. 24 through Friday, Oct. 28 from 8 a.m to 5 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 29 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
