Texarkana, Ark., police are investigating a fatality that occurred early Friday when a person walked front of an 18-wheeler on Interstate 30, an official said.
The fatal incident occurred about 6:15 a.m. Friday at the three mile marker, said Kristi Bennett, TAPD spokeswoman.
The investigation revealed an individual walked into the eastbound lane of Interstate 30 and was struck by an 18-wheeler.
The person died at the scene and police are in the process of identifying the person and notifying the family, she said.
