Firefighters from Redwater, Maud and Liberty-Eylau volunteer fire departments work a blaze at 212 Pipes Lane in Redwater late Thursday afternoon. The fire was reported just before 4 p.m. and the brick home was completely destroyed. The residents were on the property but not in the house, and no one was injured. Redwater Fire Chief Doug Harmon said the cause of the fire is unknown but it started in the garage. Harmon said it was the department’s second fire of Thanksgiving, but he didn’t believe either was related to the holiday meal.
