TxDOT to close I-30 outside lanes over two nights next week

Texas Department of Transportation will close Interstate 30 in Texarkana two nights next week to test the pavement, according to a TxDOT spokesman.

The closure applies to the outside lanes of I-30 will be closed from about half a mile west of the Nash-Kings Highway exit to North State Line Avenue.

On Tuesday, the outside eastbound lanes will close from 10 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday. The outside westbound lanes will be closed from 10 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday.

"scheduled work and lane closures can change anytime due to weather conditions or unforeseen problems," said Marcus Sandifer, TxDOT Atlanta District spokesman.
