Man in custody after shooting incident on Interstate 30

A man is in custody in the alleged shooting of another driver Saturday on Interstate 30 near Leary, Texas.
The incident happened at 5:30 p.m. near the 200 mile marker while both cars were traveling eastbound, said Capt. Jeff Neal, chief deputy for Bowie County Sheriff's Office.
According to a BCSO report, William Calvin Crunk, 64, of DeSoto, Texas, was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault. He remains in the Bowie County jail on a bail of $100,000.
The BCSO report alleges that Crunk passed the victim on the interstate and then slowed in front of him. The victim then passed the suspect. At some point, the suspect pulled even with the victim and fired a handgun at him, injuring him in the arm.
The victim called 911 and followed Crunk until police pulled the vehicle over at the 214 mile marker near Leary, according to the Sheriff's Office report. The victim pulled into Love's Travel Stop in Leary and was taken by LifeNet to a Texarkana hospital. His injuries were nonlife-threatening, according to authorities.
Bowie County sheriff's deputies and a Hooks police officer stopped Crunk and placed him in custody without incident.
