The group has changed the name from the Big Bird Fly-In and expanded the types of RC planes that can participate to attract more pilots. Spectators are welcome. Organizers say previous years have drawn as many as 100 pilots. Activities are scheduled throughout today, including night flights. The weekend of flying officially wraps up at 1 p.m. Sunday.
