Mobile medical clinic is Saturday, Sunday in Idabel

Remote Area Medical will provide a mobile medical clinic beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday and Sunday at Idabel High School, 901 Lincoln Road, Idabel, Okla.

The clinic will provide dental, vision and medical care to underserved individuals. Services include dental cleanings, dental fillings, extractions, eye exams, eyeglass prescriptions, eyeglass production, free eyeglasses, women's health exams, assistive device education, osteopathic manipulative treatment and general medical exams.

The clinic parking lot will open at midnight Saturday and Sunday. Ticket distribution begins at 3 a.m., and patients will be seen in chronological order according to their ticket number.

Out of 77 counties in Oklahoma, McCurtain County ranks 67th in quality of health, and 21 percent of the county's population is uninsured, according to the organization's press release.
