The smell of barbecue from Silver Star, tunes from the Moss Brothers Band playing rock and country classics and the sight of shiny cars filled the senses of spectators as they took in the opening of the dealership.

The crowd who attended the ribbon-cutting at Greg Orr's Classic Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram took in the wonders of 300 new cars plus more.

"It's beautiful," said Sonya Hubbard, enjoying a plate of barbecue. "The lot has a bunch of pretty new cars. Would be great to drive off in one. But I'm just enjoying the show and the food. I hope I win the TV."

The previous location of the dealership was no longer big enough to hold the burgeoning business.

"We needed more room for it all," said Haley Youngblood, marketing manager. "We broke ground in late 2016 and officially moved in the first week of November. Our sales staff is bigger. We have a new quick lane for fast service and a fully functioning car wash. It really is just a matter of a growing business that needed to expand."

Customers have reacted to the new location, giving them their biggest November sales to date.

"Novembers are not traditionally known for high levels of car sales," Youngblood said. "But this November was so good, we are expecting a record sales month in December as well."

Laramie Beshears, one of the new technicians in the service department, said he was impressed by not only the state-of-the-art facilities, but just the high level of order.

"I walked into the shop and saw one of the biggest I've ever seen. It was clean, organized and high-tech," he said.

Youngblood emphasized service to their customers.

"We are here to exceed expectations," she said. "We want to make sure you find what you need in both car shopping and car knowledge."
