New Year's Eve @ Peabody
The Peabody Hotel was packed with 4 bands, djs, and hundreds of beautiful party people!
The theme is Working with Nothing from 1 Kings 18:43.
At 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, the keynote speaker is Bishop Nelson J. Gatlin, jurisdictional prelate of the Texas Northeast Third Jurisdiction, Mitchell Chapel COGIC in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
At 6 p.m. Thursday, a Women's Day workshop, coordinated by evangelist Tiffany Kennedy, entitled Walk in the Word, will be held. It will feature speakers missionary Rowenia Cheatham-Knox, Word of Life Ministries, Texarkana, Ark., and inspirational speaker missionary Patricia Hall, Starlight COGIC, Jefferson, Texas.
At 7:15 p.m. Thursday, a Women's Day Service will be held. Missionary Pearlie M. Chatman, district supervisor of women of the F. L. Haynes District, is the featured speaker. The focus of the Women's Day `John 3:16. Women are asked to wear white with a red rose or red accessories.
At 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dr. Rockridge Hannah, F. L. Haynes district superintendent, Holy Temple COGIC, Texarkana, Texas, will speak. The Ministers and Workers Meeting theme is entitled Working with Nothing, 1 Kings 18:43.
