Identities of plane crash victims not released yet

The identity of the two victims of an airplane crash Thursday near Gurdon, Ark., have not been released, according to a dispatcher with the Clark County Sheriff's Department late Friday afternoon.

The two people died in the crash Thursday afternoon about 6 miles east of the Gurdon airport.

Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Tony Molinaro said the plane was traveling from McKinney, Texas, to Franklin, N.C., according to an Associated Press news report.

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the crash, Molinaro said.
