Eighty-three percent of University of Arkansas at Hope-Texarkana faculty and staff donated to the college's Bridge Builders fund this year, according to a press release.

The fund is used for campus improvements, scholarships, gas card programs for students and other student programs. Contributions to Bridge Builders funded four student scholarships this year at UAHT.

"Our staff and faculty, on both the Hope and Texarkana campuses, are committed to our service mission and demonstrate that every day in their work with our students and our communities. But more than that, the fact that an overwhelming number of them donate a portion of their earnings back to the institution is direct evidence of their personal commitment and belief in the promise we offer to improve the collective future of our region," Chancellor Chris Thomason said.
