The Team Club at Ashdown Junior High is collecting socks for a project called "Sock it to Me," where the socks will be donated to a local nursing home. The club is hoping to collect enough socks for the approximately 75 residents at the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home and Rehab facility.
Socks, as well as monetary donations to purchase socks, are being accepted. Donations may be dropped off at the school's main office, 600 S. Ellen Drive. Team members will deliver the socks to the facility Feb. 11.
