Texarkana Regional Airport will receive a $982,000 Federal Aviation Administration grant to build a taxiway, according to congressional officials.
"Texarkana's airport is a valuable resource to the community. This investment will enhance safety for travelers and promote economic development in the region," read a joint press release from U.S. Sens. John Boozman and Tom Cotton and U.S. Rep. Bruce Westerman, all of Arkansas.
The airport, located off of U.S. Highway 67, will receive $982,998 for the taxiway.
