Miles Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church will host guest speaker Rodriquress Dixon Broadnax at its annual missionary women's day program at 3 p.m. Sunday.
Broadnax is a down-to-earth woman of faith who has been in ministry since 1988, serving in numerous capacities.
As a teen, she began serving others in the roles of teacher and musician at her home church, St. Vestal CME Church in El Dorado, Ark.
She is the author of a personal development book, "What I Learned About Failure," which is available electronically on amazon.com.
She is a project manager for the Workforce Development Department at Southwest Arkansas Planning and Development District Inc.
She promotes self-empowerment, career development and advancement and economic self-sufficiency and helps others reach their full potential and goals in life.
