Arkansas High School student Felipe A. Jusino Jr. was picked to attend the 2017 Arkansas Governor's School at Hendrix College in Conway. His Area I discipline will be mathematics.
Selection for the program is based on a combination of ability and interest and is highly competitive. The six-week, intensive summer residential program for high school seniors is in its 38th year. The non-credit program is funded by the state as a gifted and talented program; that money covers tuition, room, board and instructional materials for each student.
Felipe is the son of Nora C. Jusino.
