Produce unavailable later in the year will be on sale Saturday at the Texarkana, Texas, Farmers' Market, alongside other local products including meat, eggs, honey and crafts.

The first Early Spring Market will feature crops such as greens, lettuces and radishes harvested before the Farmers' Market's mid-May opening.

"We figured we have producers who want to get into this market," Manager Holden Fleming said. "Why don't we open it up and let the public come out and shop some of the early spring produce of the area?"

The market, 305 Texas Blvd., opens at 7 a.m. Saturday. For more information, call Fleming at 903-798-3901.
