Historic park to present living history tours at cemetery

Historic Washington State Park will present a living history tour from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday and Monday.

"Silent City Speaks-A Living History" gives tour participants the opportunity to meet some of the past residents whose final resting place is the historic Pioneer Cemetery. A tour of the cemetery and a chance to ask questions about the cemetery's preservation projects are included. Walking tours feature stops at the graves of people portrayed. The tour provides a glimpse into Arkansas history.

Admission is $9 for adults, $5 for children age 6 to 12. Contact Historic Washington to make reservations at 870-983-2684 or [email protected].
