J.B. Hunt, one of the largest supply chain solutions providers in North America, has announced a new sales branch office in Texarkana, Texas.
"Expanding our network of enterprise sales offices into the Mobile and Texarkana areas helps us better meet the needs of customers and attract top regional talent," said Nick Gowen, senior vice president of transportation. "J.B. Hunt is better equipped to grow in new regional markets and reach more customers nationwide."
With the addition of the Texarkana office, as well as the one in Mobile, Ala., this brings the number of nationwide enterprise sales offices up to 44.
The Texarkana office has positions open for logistics sales coordinator. The job involves coordinating transport capacity and customers needing such capabilities, as well as customer relations and negotiating shipping rates.
"These positions require a two- or four-year degree and at least 12 months of comparable office experience and/or training," said Carrie Johnson, corporate market strategy manager. "We are looking for excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with a sense of urgency. Candidates must be willing to be on call, periodically, after business hours. And they need to be effective as well as tactful in dealing with customers and employees, as well as make decisions in a timely, professional manner."
