A Bowie County grand jury indicted two brothers last week for possession of the street drug ecstasy and the prescription anxiety medication Xanax.

Devaughn Dewayn Wills, 22, allegedly leaped from a second-floor window of unit 27 of the Aspen Villa Apartments in Wake Village, Texas, when local police officers executed a search warrant there Aug. 1, according to a probable-cause affidavit used to create the following account. Members of the Wake Village Police Department were able to detain Devaughn Wills after his jump.

Adarius Deron Wills, 27, was arrested in the apartment's living room. Inside the residence, officers allegedly found 5 ounces of marijuana, five bars of suspected Xanax and about 210 grams of colored tablets believed to be methylenedioxymethamphetamine, commonly known on the street as ecstasy or MDMA. A pistol, several digital scales, boxes of plastic baggies, four different cellphones and some cash were seized as well.

Both men were indicted Thursday for possession of a controlled substance, MDMA/ecstasy, greater than 4 grams but less than 400 grams, and for possession of less than 28 grams of Xanax. Both cases have been assigned to 202nd District Judge John Tidwell.
