Williams Memorial United Methodist Church will honor first responders at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
All area first responders are invited to the special service, where prayers for their safety and well-being will be offered.
The congregation is grateful for first responders' valorous service as those in the profession answer calls for help.
Special music "Te Deum" by Mark Hayes from the Chancel Choir and Chamber Orchestra will be performed. The title translates "To God."
The Bible verse featured for the service is 2 Timothy 1:7, which states, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind."
The church is at 4000 Moores Lane in Texarkana, Texas.
