Texarkana Independent School District's Board of Trustees will meet at 11:30 a.m. today to consider several turf and track replacement proposals.
These include:
- field turf for Tiger Stadium,
- track replacement and field turf for Texas High School's track
- field turf replacement at Texas High School's multi-purpose facility.
They will also consider proposals related to the kitchen remodel at Theron Jones, including construction, equipment and installation.
Additional proposals include the remodel of the dance studio and TigerVision spaces, vendors for auto glass and electrical air systems and plumbing vendors to supplement current district workers as needed.
Also on the agenda is a waiver for low attendance days and the first reading of the 2018-19 budget.
The meeting will be held at the TISD Administration Building, 4241 Summerhill Road, Texarkana, Texas.
