ACT Prep workshops for high school students will be held on University of Arkansas at Hope-Texarkana campuses this summer.

The courses will offer focused, discipline-specific skills in all four ACT areas: Reading, English, Math and Science Reasoning. The Texarkana workshop will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. June 4-5, and the workshop in Hope will be 8 a.m. to noon June 6-7.

The cost for the workshop is $40, and 50 percent scholarships will be available to students who are eligible for free and reduced-price lunch at school. A $5, nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve a spot. Deposits can be dropped off at either campus' reception desks or mailed to Ashli Dykes, 2500 S. Main St., Hope, AR 71802.
