Only a few seats remain for senior adults wanting to attend a trip to Westfest Czech Festival on Labor Day weekend.
The Travel-N-Learn Fun Club for Seniors will attend the performance of two polka bands on Sept. 1. Internationally acclaimed artists Brave Combo and Mollie B will headline the annual festival in West, Texas, near Waco.
Texarkana native Carl Finch heads up Brave Combo, which is headquartered in Denton, Texas. Mollie B is featured on national TV every Saturday night on RFD-TV and plays a vast array of musical instruments. A full day of sightseeing, family fun, continuous music, authentic food and much more is being planned.
The festival will include an overnight stay near the event. Transportation is furnished, but seating is limited.
