Shoppers at Central Mall can enjoy live Christmas music in the coming weeks. The performance stage is at the former Sears storefront.
Weekend entertainment features community talents such as Debbie Gilliam, Don Rankin, Don Brazile, school choirs, the Tuba Christmas group and a full day of piano recitals by students of the Allegro piano teachers club on Dec. 15.
There will be weekly performances by Haley Patillo, Vicki Carr, Larry Campbell and Bonnie Montgomery of Texarkana Academy of Musical Arts, a music training studio in the mall.
Dates are today through Sunday, Dec. 14-16 and Dec. 21-23. Hours are around 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Fridays, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays and 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays.
