The Hempstead County law enforcement agencies will come together Friday by sponsoring a benefit chicken dinner and auction to raise money to help with medical expenses for an officer's wife.
The chicken dinner will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the Hempstead County Sheriff's Department near downtown Hope, Ark.
The chicken dinner will be $8 per plate.
The dinner will benefit Jessica Oller.
She has been diagnosed with melanoma cancer.
Jessica is the wife of Sgt. Daniel Oller of Hope Police Department. He is a 16-year veteran.
