Texas A&M University-Texarkana and the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra present a chamber music concert featuring works for percussion and clarinet on Monday.
Held at 7 p.m. in the University Center building third floor at the Tri-State Metal and Ironworks Atrium, this is the third of four chamber music concerts that are part of this new annual series at A&M-Texarkana.
This concert features works for percussion ensemble and percussion ensemble and clarinet.
Performers include the TSO's principal percussionists Derron Bell and Jacob Garcia, as well as clarinetist Cheyenne Cruz. Repertoire highlights include an arrangement of Bach's "Cello Suite No. 3" for marimba and "L'Histoire du Tango" by Astor Piazzola for marimba and clarinet.
Admission is free, but reserved seating is available in the two front rows for $10.
