NEW BOSTON, Texas-Bowie County residents will get a chance to listen to county candidates speak about the issues during the county's Straw Poll election starting at 5 p.m. today at New Boston High School.
The speakers will included candidates for road commissioner Precincts 2 and 4 and for justice of the peace, Precinct 1, Place 2.
Following their presentations, residents will be able to cast their ballots.
