Crave Pizza is getting ready to reintroduce pizza to Texarkana. The new restaurant is built around the concept of the custom pizza: Customers get to pick from more than 30 different toppings, six sauces and three varieties of crust.

"And it does not end there," said Danna Nolen, general manager of Crave Pizza. "You get to watch someone assemble it before your eyes, put it all together and then put it in the oven and bake it fresh for you."

Established in the plaza along Mall Lane across from Albertsons and Hobby Lobby, in the space formerly occupied by Billy Sims Barbecue, the business will open this Thursday.

"We will offer both takeout and dining options, complete with a drive-through window," Nolen said. "Of course, we have drinks, which include craft sodas. We will also have adult beverages, wine and beer, with domestic and imported brands as well as craft beers. You will also have sides and desserts to choose from."

Crave Pizza is locally owned, and though the owners do want to open more of them by 2019, right now the Texarkana restaurant is the only one.

"We open next Thursday and we are hiring," Nolen said. "Come on by and fill out an application and join our team."

Crave Pizza is located at 3747 Mall Lane.
