Miller County Justice of the Peace Rodney Watkins announced he will seek re-election for District 11 justice of the peace on the Quorum Court.
"After serving my first year as District 11 representative, I am progressively learning more every day about what it takes and what I can do to help Miller County and the Quorum Court to continue to move Miller County in a positive direction," Watkins said.
"I do appreciate all of the support I have received from the citizens of Miller County. Serving on numerous committees has helped me learn more about our financial condition and how various departments work throughout the county. I will continue to work hard for the citizens, the Quorum Court and the county to further improve our financial condition, law enforcement, and health and safety of Miller County," he said.
Watkins is a lifelong resident of Miller County and is married to Gina Watkins. They have two children in Fouke School District: River Watkins is a junior in high school, and Wyatt Watkins is a fifth-grade student in Fouke Elementary.
The family attends Circle J Cowboy Church.
