The following schools, courts and other agencies are closed or have changed their schedules today because of inclement weather and road conditions.



Court will not be held at Miller County Courthouse or Miller County Correctional Center. Circuit Judge Carlton Jones said the jail's criminal docket for Tuesday will be rescheduled.

The Miller County Quorum Court meeting for tonight is postponed until Jan. 22. Texarkana, Ark., Board of Directors' meeting is also rescheduled, for 1 p.m. Thursday.

Bowie County citizens who received summonses to appear today for jury selection at Bowie County Courthouse in New Boston, Texas, do not need to report. Jury selection was canceled in the interest of public safety because of the possibility of inclement weather.



HealthCARE Express: Closed until noon Wednesday.

Miller County Health Unit: Closes at 2 p.m. today.

In the Texarkana region, Interstates 30 and 49 have patches of ice, U.S. Highway 71 and Arkansas Highway 41 are slushy, and U.S. Highway 82 has ice patches in some areas, with other parts covered in snow. 

Drive Texas is reports ice and snow on Interstate 30 bridges and overpasses and advises caution if travel is necessary. An accident was shown on the interstate near Red River Army Depot about 11:45 a.m.
