Three deputies promoted at Miller County Sheriff's Office

Miller County Sheriff Jackie Runion announced the promotion of three deputies this afternoon, according to a press release from the sheriff's office.

Alan Keller, a 16-year veteran of the Miller County Sheriff's Office, was promoted to the rank of lieutenant. Keller has served as a member of Bi-State Narcotics Task Force and Miller County Criminal Investigation Division and most recently as commander of second shift in the Uniform Patrol Division. He now assumes the role of CID commander.

Nicholas Ontiveros, a 6-year veteran of the sheriff's office, was promoted to the rank of sergeant. Ontiveros had previously served as a member of the Bi-State Narcotics Task Force, and most recently as second-shift patrol supervisor. He now takes the job of commander for second shift in the Uniform Patrol Division.

Christopher Spear, a 6-year veteran, was promoted to the rank of corporal. Spear serves as a field training officer with the Uniform Patrol Division. He is now second-shift supervisor in the Uniform Patrol Division.
