A Texarkana, Ark., Board of Directors meeting first slated for Tuesday has been rescheduled for Thursday because of weather.
The board will hold its regular biweekly meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday in City Hall, 216 Walnut St.
On the agenda is a vote to OK the details of a bond issue that will fund more than $2.6 million in new public safety equipment. Directors will also vote on amending the city budget to account for more than $84,000 in state grants to support electronic waste disposal and recycling efforts.
The city Advertising and Promotion Commission is also scheduled to meet Thursday. The commission will convene at 4:30 p.m. in City Hall. No agenda has been published.
