Bowie County Democratic Party will hold a meet-and-greet with political candidates from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at Twin City Events Center, 2101 Texas Blvd.
Candidates Catherine Krantz of Emory and Leander Bethel of Sherman, who will run for U.S. representative for the 4th District of Texas in November's election, will be on hand to talk with the public and answer questions, said Shannon Heflin-Balderas, director of communication for the Bowie County Democratic Party.
Republican Rep. John Ratcliffe holds the 4th District seat.
