Wake Village City Council members will meet at 6 p.m. today to consider appointing members to the city's Economic Development Committee.
Council members will also consider awarding a contract to a private bidder for municipal street repairs for this year. They will also seek to contract a bidder interested in making repairs on the King Park public restroom, as well as authorizing Economic Development expenditures to help fund a U.S. Highway 67 corridor master development plan. They will further consider using the same funds to finance a city sewer mapping project.
The meeting will be held at Wake Village City Hall's Council Chamber, 624 Burma Road.
