The Housing Authority of Texarkana, Texas, will host a Homebuyer's Education Course on Saturday and July 28 for all area residents.
The free, two-part workshop will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day in the Pecan Ridge community room at 2210 W. 15th St. It is designed to prepare participants for homeownership. Attendees will be able to ask questions, and lunch will be provided.
Area financial experts will "give attendees the tools needed to achieve their home ownership goals," according to a HATT news release.
"The information that you will gain gives an individual the tools to make a conscious decision about their future and home ownership," Nelson said.
Participants who complete the course will receive a certificate that can help them qualify for various homebuyer programs.
