The Texarkana Metropolitan Planning Organization will hold another public meeting from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at Texarkana, Texas, City Hall, 220 Texas Blvd.
The meeting, which will take place in the second floor conference room, will focus on getting public comments, ideas and suggestions from residents regarding proposed changes in the TMPO's 2015-2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan.
The 25-year plan involves both Texarkanas, Wake Village, Nash, and Bowie and Miller counties.
TMPO staff members will be present to give an overview of the plan as well as answer questions and receive comments and ideas from residents. Attendees also will be invited to discuss projects and study maps.
The TMPO's Policy Board will meet Friday inside the council chambers to consider and discuss the residential input.
