TISD Hall of Fame Induction

Martin Brewster receives the Texarkana Independent School District's Hall of Fame award Tuesday from Superintendent Paul Norton during the annual Community Breakfast. Brewster worked in the district from 1962 to 1995 and served as choir director at Westlawn and Pine Street Junior High schools and at Texas High. He also served as counselor at Pine Street Middle School from 1986 until he retired in 1995. The Hall of Fame award is given annually to a retired employee who has had a significant effect on the district and the Texarkana community.
