Drug trial is delayed

A drug trial scheduled for Monday in Little River County, Ark., has been delayed indefinitely, according to court documents.

The trial for Steven Snyder, 54, of Ashdown in Little River County was scheduled for Monday, but attorneys asked for a continuance. No new trial date has been set.

Snyder has been charged with manufacture of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Agents with the South Central Drug Task Force, Arkansas State Police and the Little River County Sheriff's Office executed a search and seizure warrant May 1, 2017, in the 100 block of Powerline Road, Ashdown.

During the search of the residence, agents located the following:

  •  52 marijuana plants
  •  Commercially manufactured marijuana grow room
  •  Processed marijuana
  •  Marijuana smoking devices
  •  Digital and postal scales
  •  Chemicals used to grow marijuana and an assortment of other items used to grow marijuana
